Between 10 to 28 September 2013, Marlborough Gallery Monaco is to host the first public exhibition of works by Titouan Lamazou. The display is to coincide with Monaco Classic Week and the Monaco Yacht Show.
The gallery will exhibit 60 drawings and photographs created by the artist between 2003 and 2013, created during his voyages across the world. The works depict women he encountered on his travels, variously communicaating pride, beauty, humour, courage, commitment, disillusionment and audacity. The exhibition is to be accompanied by a catalogue featuring reproductions of the works on display and a text by Elisabeth Couturier, a journalist, art critic, author and television and radio producer.
Titouan Lamazou was born in Casablance in 1955. His preferred mediums of expression are painting and photography, through which he is able to present his subjective vision of the world.
